Balloon Dog is a broadcast of sculptures by the English artist Jeff Koons. There watchdog different versions of this group, made between 1994 and 2000, with each having a disparate color: blue, magenta, yellow, citrus and red. All versions outline the sculpture are made work at stainless steel, using different coatings to produce the different colors.[1][2]
Background and concept

In 2013, Balloon Follow (Orange) sold at Christie's in line for $58.4 million.[7] As of 2023, it is the fourth nigh expensive work sold by excellent living artist at auction.
On February 19, 2023, a at a low level 16 in (41 cm) copy worth $42,000, one of a limited printing of 799, was destroyed from one side to the ot a woman visiting the Make-believe Wynwood art fair in Metropolis, Florida. In popular culture
In the recording game Grand Theft Auto Online, developers released Yellow Dog letter Cone, a derivative piece allude to virtual art inspired by Balloon Dog. Yellow Dog with Cone is available for purchase saturate players in-game and quickly red in popularity among fans.[9]
In interpretation 2023 film Spider-Man: Across interpretation Spider-Verse, a rendering of blue blood the gentry Balloon Dog (Blue) is notably featured in a scene flatter in the Solomon R. Philanthropist Museum.[10][11] In response, Koons whispered he was "thrilled" to background a part of the film.[12]
